iZoofari

This app is being upgraded to the latest version of Silverlight and is not available at this time...

iZoofari is online custom application built by InterKnowlogy for San Diego Zoo which greatly enhances the visitor experience. Utilizing a number of Microsoft platform and tool technologies, including Microsoft Microsoft Silverlight 2.0, Windows Server 2008, SQL Server® 2008, Visual Studio 2008, and the .NET Framework 3.5, the iZoofari application serves visitor content to users and provides business intelligence capabilities to improve Zoo operations.

Robert Erhardt, San Diego Zoo CIO says “30-40% of the sightseer time spent at the Zoo was figuring out how to get around". Visitors now will be able to plan their route in advance. iZoofari will not only show the chosen exhibits but also display a wealth of animal facts, trivia and photographs along an optimum route through the park.The application also tracks visitor patterns and collects rich data which is of immense value to all departments at the Zoo.

Wish⁴³ is a Graphical Look at the 43things.com Folksonomy

Wish⁴³ presents a graphical experience to 43things.com – An award winning social networking site where users share lists of their goals, dreams and hopes.

Wish⁴³ graphically displays 43things.com user avatars and goals shared by those users. The more popular a goal, the larger it is represented. The Wish⁴³ application does not show all the goals for a particular user nor does it show all of the people who share a specific goal. Instead, is shows a random snapshot of an internet community and their collective dreams and desires.

"Why it's Cool..."

Wish⁴³ is cool because:

• It’s a Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 application that works just as well on Windows Browsers as it does on Mac Browsers...and others.
• Its .NET…C# and XAML… and in full screen mode you will think it’s a WPF application.
• It consumes the 43 Things Web Service API through REST... that runs on Ruby
• It’s C# 3.0, LINQ, and .NET 3.5
• It was built in less than a week by Kevin Kennedy from InterKnowlogy who had no prior Silverlight experience! Kevin is getting a bit famous in technology circles because of his highly publicized WPF 3D work in Cancer Research and Healthcare.
